Through funding provided by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport, Georgina Island First Nation has developed a new community website that preserves our culture through digital storytelling.

Through a collaborative approach, we have digitized oral and written stories from our community, catalogued archival photos and photographed community artefacts. Our new website is a living museum for our community, where we can learn more about the stories that make us unique.

If you have a story, photo or artefact you want digitized, please make an appointment with the librarians. We have also set up a kiosk in the library so community members can explore the new website and upload their own content.
